Wow! Your family history sounds a lot like mine. Are you my doppleganger?! Seriously: for a long time, I thought my upbringing was *so* unique and twisted. I’ve learned that there are many who are “recovering” from hurtful pasts and seeking their own way through all the BS foisted upon them throughout their lives.
